What you'll do:

As a Senior Field Application Engineer based in Taoyuan, you will play a pivotal role in supporting key customers throughout the entire design process. Your day-to-day responsibilities will centre around building strong technical relationships with engineering teams at major organisations, providing thoughtful guidance on interconnect solutions tailored to their unique requirements. You will collaborate closely with internal business units to ensure development activities are aligned with customer needs while maintaining compliance with industry standards. • Provide comprehensive technical support directly to customers’ engineering teams, ensuring their design challenges are addressed with empathy and expertise.
• Build lasting technical relationships by engaging with customers early in the design stage, helping them achieve successful design wins through shared knowledge.
• Understand customers’ specific technical requirements and create tailored concepts that solve complex interconnect challenges in a considerate manner.
• Offer detailed design guidance for innovative interconnect applications, always considering the unique needs of each customer’s project.
• Differentiate products and services by clearly communicating their advantages over competitors in a polite and honest way.
• Collaborate closely with various business units to align development activities with customers’ technical roadmaps, fostering interdependent progress.
• Travel within the China/APAC region as needed to meet with customers face-to-face, strengthening interpersonal connections and trust.

• Maintain up-to-date awareness of industry specifications such as UL, EIA, IEC, IEEE, Telcordia, PCI-SIG, OCP etc., ensuring all solutions are compliant and dependable.

• Over five years of experience working with connectors application and system-level interconnect requirements, demonstrating reliability and depth of knowledge.
• Familiarity with power supplies, power shelves, CPU/GPU servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and Data Center rack-level solutions is highly desirable for this role.
• General understanding of industry specifications including UL, EIA, IEC, IEEE, Telcordia, PCI-SIG, OCP etc., ensuring all solutions provided are compliant and trustworthy.
• Proactive approach combined with enthusiasm for problem-solving; you bring passion for finding effective answers through collaboration.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills that enable you to connect sensitively with both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels within a global organisation.
