What you'll do:

As a Senior SDT EE – Electronic Engineering based in Hsinchu, you will be instrumental in ensuring that every component sourced from suppliers meets exacting standards. Your day-to-day activities will involve building strong relationships with both external partners and internal teams to guarantee seamless integration of high-quality electronic materials into innovative products. You will take ownership of supplier audits, oversee data-driven performance monitoring, resolve complex quality challenges through collaborative problem-solving efforts, and contribute your expertise during new product introductions. By championing continuous improvement initiatives across multiple functions—including R&D, procurement, production—you will help shape processes that deliver consistent results. Your ability to communicate effectively in both English and Chinese will enable you to bridge cultural gaps while travelling globally for on-site assessments. Success in this role means not only maintaining but elevating supplier performance so that every end-user benefits from reliable technology solutions.

• Collaborate closely with suppliers to ensure all electronic materials consistently meet rigorous company quality standards and detailed specifications through effective communication and partnership.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust supplier quality management systems including comprehensive supplier audits, evaluations, and certification processes designed to uphold excellence.
• Monitor supplier performance by tracking key quality metrics, conducting regular data analysis using statistical tools, and preparing insightful reports for internal stakeholders.
• Address supplier quality issues proactively by working directly with partners on problem analysis, root cause identification, and developing corrective as well as preventive actions that foster long-term improvements.
• Participate actively in the selection, development, and evaluation of new suppliers to confirm their quality systems and production capabilities align with project requirements.
• Conduct regular on-site audits and inspections at supplier facilities to verify the effectiveness of their production processes and adherence to stringent quality control measures.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams such as research and development, production, procurement, and others to drive continuous improvement initiatives that enhance supplier quality outcomes.
• Provide expert technical support and guidance on quality-related matters during new product development projects to ensure successful launches.
• Assist in creating, updating, and refining quality standards, inspection specifications, and testing methods that reflect industry best practices.
• Lead the validation and approval process for Supplier Process Change Notifications (SPCN) while also participating in the qualification of secondary source suppliers.
