Sr. UEFI BIOS Engineer

Keywords: Firmware development, Server, BIOS, EDKII firmware Our client, a global leader in technology, is on the hunt for a Senior UEFI BIOS Engineer. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with cross-functional teams and silicon vendors, providing guidance and training on new technical specifications.

What you'll do:

  • Design and develop EDKII firmware code
  • Author firmware specifications and provide technical guidance
  • Study new technical specifications and ensure proper implementation
  • Debug and troubleshoot firmware-related issues across development stages
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including silicon, core, QA, and customer teams
  • Work closely with silicon vendors to analyze and resolve issues
  • Address firmware challenges throughout planning, development, and validation phases

What you bring:

  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent, or 5 years experience in a firmware development position
  • Proficiency in C/C++
  • Knowledge of UEFI EDK/EDKII core infrastructure
  • Knowledge of PC technology standards (PCI, ACPI, SD, eMMC, USB etc.)
  • Familiarity with software development process
  • Excellent system-level debugging skills
  • Technical English skills
  • Ability to work well both with a team and independently
