Accounting Manager

A rapidly expanding Software company is looking for talented Accounting Manager in Taipei Taiwan. In this job, you will lead a team and be responsible for full Accounting operation with great global exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

• lead the routine Accounting operation and the monthly-end closing process
• be involved in compliance tasks eg. VAT submissions, withholding tax submission, preparation of tax related account reconciliation, statutory financial statements where necessary. Ensure tax filing are make accurately and timely
• partner with SOX team to develop SOX framework and facilitate controls testing in Taiwan
• support the year-end financial statement audit, as well as any statutory audits that may arise
• assist the Controller with other responsibilities including participation and management of special projects, ERP enhancements, internal controls, and ad hoc analyses as requested

Key Requirements:

• major in Accounting
• Good English
• 7+ years of relevant accounting experience including Big4 and in-house experience
• must be a highly organised, detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and within a team environment
• strong Excel skills - must be comfortable analysing and manipulating large data sets
• ability to effectively communicate clear and concise ideas both verbally and in writing in English
• superior problem-solving skills and ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
• experience in a high growth organisation; SOX implementation a plus
