A leading global supplier to the semiconductor industry is seeking a Finance and Controlling Manager for their thriving facility in Taipei City. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial future of the organisation, supporting both local management and international colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day financial accounting activities including processing invoices, recording bank transactions, and managing payroll administration to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Support local management by providing timely financial insights and advice that help drive business decisions and organisational growth.
  • Report monthly financials within established deadlines to headquarters, ensuring transparency and reliability in all submissions.
  • Implement robust internal controls to safeguard assets and maintain integrity across all financial processes within the facility.
  • Collaborate closely with finance colleagues at headquarters in The Netherlands to align on reporting standards and share best practices.
  • Advise on improvements to administrative processes during your first year, identifying opportunities for efficiency and supporting implementation alongside dedicated team members.
  • Work directly with the General Manager in Taiwan as well as the Vice President Finance in The Netherlands, maintaining clear lines of communication for functional reporting.
  • Contribute proactively to the continuous improvement of financial operations by sharing unsolicited advice based on your expertise and analytical mindset.
  • Support the business through periods of growth by adapting financial procedures to meet evolving organisational needs.
  • Foster a positive working environment by collaborating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and promoting teamwork throughout the finance function.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field is required for this position, demonstrating your foundational understanding of financial principles.
  • Approximately five years’ experience in profit-and-loss administration and its recording equips you with practical expertise needed for this role.
  • Your accurate approach ensures precision in all aspects of financial accounting, from invoice processing to payroll management.
  • An analytical mindset allows you to interpret complex data sets effectively and provide actionable recommendations for business improvement.
  • Proactive attitude enables you to identify areas for enhancement within existing processes without waiting for direction.
  • Results-driven focus helps you deliver reliable monthly reports within tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken) supports effective communication in an international environment with colleagues from various locations.
  • Experience implementing internal controls demonstrates your ability to safeguard organisational assets through sound procedures.
  • Ability to collaborate across cultures fosters strong relationships with both local teams and international counterparts.
