Finance Manager

A leading organisation in Taipei is seeking a Finance Manager to join their dedicated finance team. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to take on a pivotal role, overseeing a team of six and managing key financial functions including accounting, fixed assets, payroll, banking operations, and department liaison. You will report directly to the Taiwan General Manager and functionally to the Regional CFO

• Oversee all aspects of accounting operations including the management of fixed assets, ensuring accurate records and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Supervise payroll processing for the organisation, maintaining confidentiality and accuracy while supporting your team members throughout each cycle.
• Manage banking relationships and transactions, ensuring smooth operations and timely resolution of any issues that may arise.
• Act as the primary liaison with department stores and external partners, facilitating clear communication and effective problem-solving.
• Lead a team of six finance professionals by fostering a collaborative environment that encourages knowledge sharing and mutual support.
• Prepare regular financial reports for both local management in Taiwan and functional reporting to the Regional CFO.
• Implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets while promoting transparency within the finance function.
• Support annual audits by coordinating with auditors, preparing necessary documentation, and addressing queries promptly.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance department, championing initiatives that enhance efficiency without compromising quality.
• Provide hands-on support to your team members whenever needed, demonstrating a gentle approach that builds trust and confidence.
