Finance Controller

A leading multinational organisation is seeking a Finance Controller to join their Kaohsiung-based team, offering you the chance to play a pivotal role in shaping financial operations for a well-established entity within the manufacturing sector.

What you'll do:

• Oversee all aspects of financial controlling for the Taiwan entity, ensuring accurate reporting and compliance with both local regulations and global standards.
• Manage general ledger activities including month-end closing processes, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements to support business objectives.
• Coordinate tax planning and compliance efforts by liaising with internal stakeholders and external advisors to ensure timely submissions and adherence to statutory requirements.
• Supervise two local finance team members by providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering an environment of continuous learning and collaboration.
• Work closely with the accounting shared service centre in Xiamen to monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and banking transactions for seamless financial operations.
• Utilise SAP systems to streamline financial processes, enhance data accuracy, and generate insightful reports for management decision-making.
• Support budgeting and forecasting activities by analysing financial data and presenting recommendations to senior management for strategic planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technical, engineering, service, sales, HR, and administration departments to provide financial insights that drive business performance.
• Report directly to the North East Asia Financial Controller based in Shanghai while maintaining regular communication with the Asia Pacific Financial Controller in Singapore.
• Champion integrity and attention to detail throughout all financial activities to uphold organisational values and promote trust within the team.
