Finance Director

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Director to join their team in Taipei. This role offers the opportunity to design, implement, and manage key financial and information processes within an international consumer goods firm. You will be instrumental in providing accurate financial analysis and recommendations for strategic decisions, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company rules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement and manage company's financial and information processes
• Oversee various stages of the planning process including budgeting and reporting
• Provide accurate financial analysis and recommendations for strategic decisions
• Ensure accurate accounting records are maintained in accordance with local regulation and company rules
• Assist with major contracts, trademarks, legal issues
• Manage tax, insurance, cash flow and banking for the subsidiary with support from Corporate Financial Team
• Supervise IT department

Key Requirments:

• University degree and/or CA/CPA qualification
• +/- 10 years’ experience in accounting and finance within an international consumer goods firm
• Fluency in English
• Strong project management experience
• Knowledge of international accounting and Group accounting and financial rules
• Understanding of regional products, business culture, industrial flows
• Ability to design and implement new processes in different local environments
• Influence to recommend and convince on business strategic decisions
• Anticipation to adapt to future needs
