Commercial Accounting Manager, Business Partner

A world-leading FMCG firm is recruiting a Commercial Accounting Manager, Business Partner in Taiwan to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Partnership:
• Establish strong business partnership with both commercial and finance team across Taiwan/Hong Kong/Korea and provide accounting and control expertise
• Proactively involved in key business changes, point out critical financial risk and financial implication. For example, accounting process for business model changes, accounting implication for E-commerce investment to have effective and sustainable financial controls activities
• Provide functional excellence in accounting capability across the network and ensure balance between global accounting organization strategy and business needs
• Communicate based on accounting/finance expertise to improve the processes that related to accounting and drive the accuracy of financial results & functional excellence
• Co-work with internal/external parties for annual audit coordination and a main contact window for local statutory audit inquiry
• Accounting Functional Excellence:
• Comply with US GAAP and current financial legislation for financial statements
• Supervise accounting procedures, controls, and processes including revenue/trade/consumer related ones
• Consistently provide solutions for all identified financial control gaps, and ensure they are implemented in compliance with global standard process
• Ensure an accurate and timely reporting of all monthly financial information especially focus on revenue/trade/consumer expense related activities

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Finance
• 10 years+ experience in FMCG company Accounting/Controlling roles with solid accounting & control knowledge
• Capability in partnering with multiple business partners and build trusting relationships
• Good communication skill in being able to communicate across the organization effectively and logically
• Demonstrated leadership skills and be a strong people manager with open minded and agile personality to lead a cross market team through ambiguity
• English proficiency required
