Senior Accountant - Accounts Payable

A global organisation seeks a Senior Accountant – Accounts Payable to join their expanding team in Taiwan. This pivotal role offers you to work on a collaborative and knowledgeable accounting department, supporting both domestic and international operations.

Key responsibilities:

As Senior Accountant – Accounts Payable, you will manage oversee global AP operations, manage complex invoices and vendor relationships, and drive compliance and process improvements within a fast-growing accounting team.

  • Manage end-to-end production/inventory AP cycle, including invoice processing, three-way matching, and discrepancy resolution
  • Handle month-end close, accrual postings, and reconciliation of AP production clearing accounts
  • Oversee vendor management, reconciliations, and timely query resolution while coordinating with production teams for accuracy and budget alignment
  • Manage international AP operations, including high-volume, multi-currency transactions and compliance with global tax regulations
  • Support audits, SOX compliance, and drive process improvements, system enhancements, and special projects

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring strong AP experience in international, multi-currency environments, ERP proficiency, analytical accuracy, and the ability to collaborate effectively under tight deadlines.

  • Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics with 5+ years’ experience, including international AP operations and multi-currency transactions
  • Strong knowledge of invoicing, POs, three-way matching, contract review, and production cost structures (costing experience a plus)
  • Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion) and MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) with good English communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Self-driven and adaptable, with a proactive attitude, able to work independently and collaborate across global teams with flexible hours
