Senior AR Accountant

A Leading organisation in Taipei seeks a Senior AR Accountant to optimise cash flow, manage credit risk, and support process improvements within a collaborative finance team offering flexible work and growth opportunities.

Key responsibilities

As a Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant, you will be entrusted with managing the full spectrum of accounts receivable processes from invoicing through reconciliation. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve close collaboration with various teams to ensure seamless financial operations.

  • Manage end-to-end AR operations including billing, credit notes, cash application, collections follow-ups, and dispute resolution
  • Maintain accurate AR records, review ageing reports, and reconcile AR subledger with the general ledger
  • Ensure revenue recognition compliance with IFRS/TFRS and internal accounting policies
  • Prepare AR reports, DSO analysis, cash forecasts, and support month-end/year-end closing activities
  • Improve AR processes through automation initiatives, ensure internal control compliance, and support digitalisation projects (e.g., ERP, dashboards)

Candidate profile

Your proven experience as a Senior Accounts Receivable Accountant will showcase your meticulous approach to managing financial transactions while fostering positive relationships both internally and externally.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with at least 3 years’ accounting experience, including 2+ years in Accounts Receivable.
  • Solid knowledge of accounting principles, revenue recognition, and internal controls.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills with proficiency in English and Mandarin
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven; Retail, FMCG, or QSR experience
