A leading fintech organisation in Taipei is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their collaborative and supportive finance team.

What you'll do:

  • Manage accounts payable processes by ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors while maintaining positive relationships through considerate communication.
  • Oversee accounts receivable functions, including invoicing clients and following up on outstanding balances in a polite and dependable manner.
  • Maintain general ledger integrity by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and supporting month-end closing activities with attention to detail.
  • Prepare tax filings and ensure compliance with local regulations by collaborating closely with internal teams and external advisors.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports, providing clear insights for management decision-making through thorough analysis.
  • Support annual audits by gathering documentation, responding to auditor queries, and facilitating smooth cooperation between departments.
  • Contribute to process improvements by sharing ideas for more efficient workflows and participating in communal training sessions.
  • Work closely with other finance team members to foster an inclusive atmosphere where everyone’s input is valued and respected.
  • Provide guidance to junior staff when needed, nurturing their development through empathetic mentorship.
