Accounting Manager

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee and manage the day-to-day accounting operations within the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, tax management, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting Operations Management:

   • Supervise and manage the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.

   • Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).

   • Manage general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and other accounting functions.

   • Ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded, classified, and reconciled.

2. Tax Management:

   • Manage all aspects of tax compliance, ensuring timely and accurate filing of tax returns, including corporate tax, VAT, and other applicable taxes.

   • Review and prepare tax calculations, ensuring the company minimizes its tax liabilities while remaining compliant with local and international tax laws.

   • Monitor and stay updated on tax regulations to ensure the company’s tax strategies and filings are in compliance.

3. Financial Reporting:

   • Prepare and present accurate financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, to senior management.

   • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.

   • Conduct variance analysis to track financial performance and highlight key issues.

   • Ensure that the organization meets all reporting requirements and deadlines, and that reports align with industry standards.

4. Internal Controls & Compliance:

   • Ensure robust internal controls are in place to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data integrity.

   • Coordinate with external auditors during the audit process, ensuring timely and accurate completion.

   • Ensure the company adheres to relevant accounting, tax, and regulatory requirements.

   • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency of accounting operations.

5. Team Leadership & Development:

   • Supervise and mentor the accounting team, providing guidance and support in their day-to-day activities.

   • Ensure ongoing training and development for accounting staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

   • Foster a collaborative and efficient work environment within the accounting department.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA, CMA, or other relevant certifications are a plus.

• Proven experience (5+ years) in accounting, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or management role.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and financial reporting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS).

• Experience in tax compliance and financial reporting for a company.

• Proficiency in SAP
